What type of properties do you have available?
TempleTown Realty owns and manages over 300 apartments and houses all within 3 blocks of Temple’s main campus. Our properties range from studio and one bedroom apartments to 10+ bedroom houses. TempleTown Realty’s newest project, The Modules at TempleTown

When is the best time to look for housing?
Our Leasing Season for Summer/Fall move-ins starts the December before.
December – Start of Leasing Season
May through August – Summer/Fall move-ins
November – Renewals for Current Residents
How much is rent?
The average rent per person is around $350 to $750 a month. Rent varies depending on apartment size, location, shared vs. private bedrooms, furnished vs. unfurnished, etc..
Are utilities included with rent?
Because we have a wide range of types of properties, included utilities are different for each property. For houses, residents are responsible for water, gas, and electric. For apartments, utilities vary by property.
Do you have cable/internet?
All of our properties are wired for cable and internet in every bedroom and living room. Please contact Comcast or Verizon for information on current rates and setting up service. We do not allow DirecTV. The Modules is the first building in the Temple area that offers Verizon FiOS. All apartments at The Modules include FREE FiOS high-speed internet.
Do you have furnished apartments?
Furnished apartments are available at The Modules. Furnished apartments include all living room furniture and bedroom furniture (full-sized beds). For more information on furnished units, please visit The Modules website
. If you are interested in having one of our other properties furnished, please contact our office for more information. We occasionally work with furniture rental companies to provide apartment furnishing for our units.
How long are your leases?
Most of our leases are for 1 calendar year starting June 1st or August 1st. The move-in date and lease terms varies by property.
Do you offer short term leases?
Short term leases are available on a limited basis. Please contact our office for more information.
Do you offer individual leases?
We do not offer individual leases. All of our leases are done by the apartment or house, not by the bed. When deciding on roommates, please keep in mind that you are committing to each other and the property for a year lease.
Do you offer roommate placements?
We occasionally offer roommate matching services on a limited basis. Please contact us for more information on availability.
What if I need to break my lease?
TempleTown Realty does not offer an option to break a lease before the lease end date. Please review the lease terms for a property before making a commitment. If you are interested in subletting your apartment for the remainder of your lease term, please contact our office for more information.
How do I reserve an apartment?
Once you have seen an apartment and would like to reserve it, a Rental Application reservation deposit of one month’s rent is due. This deposit takes your apartment off of the market and guarantees it for your move-in. The reservation deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to move in costs for the apartment.
